Day 2: Monday 20 October - Exploring Magic Kingdom

After a good night's sleep we were pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't raining so we quickly got ready and caught the shuttle to the park.

Breakfast was croissant and a drink at Earl of Sandwich and then into the park. We were greeted by the Big Cheese himself, Mickey, who was waving to his fans from Main Street Station.  We then headed for It's a Small World. Next was a ride on the Disneyland Railroad - one of J's favourites.

Lunch was at Bella Notte. J had a Mickey pizza and the grown ups had spaghetti and meatballs in honour of Lady and the Tramp.

We then decided to go to the Studios for the afternoon.  We enjoyed it much more than we thought we would. The sun was shining and we made the most of it. We went on the Cars Road Trip and Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin.  C and J went on Cars Quatre Roues Rallye. E had done that ride with Sarah in 2022 and still felt dizzy! We then had a walk around the Avengers campus. Finally, the highlight of any Disney trip - a meet with Mickey Mouse himself. 

By now we were tired and peckish and it was starting to rain so we walked speedily to the Earl of Sandwich for a snack via the Lego store.

The rain stopped and the sun came out again so we decided to walk back to the hotel which was much quicker than we expected. 

A quiet, relaxing evening, reading, doing Lego and chilling was on the cards ready for another busy day tomorrow.
